“Through fiber technology, this additional service provides new and existing Converge members with access to local and international TV channels, as well as binge-watch shows from exclusive channels such as USA Today News, USA Today Sports, Pocketwatch, and Ryan and Friends,” according to a statement from Converge.
Vision, according to Converge, includes the Xperience Box, an all-in-one Android entertainment device that allows clients to watch multi-genre TV episodes and shows.
The device “does not require any cable TV line access and also provides easy connection to a mouse, gamepad, keypad, and other devices,” according to Converge.
“With solid security precautions and advanced artificial intelligence, this simple-to-set-up service allows you one-click access to channels, Google apps, online games, and OTT apps like HBO Go, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Spotify,” the company stated.
Converge Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Anthony H. Uy remarked, "Vision is only the first of many innovative services we want to bring to improve Filipinos' digital experience as we build our digital highway."
“We now have more than enough bandwidth to deliver entertainment content on a streaming platform and other applications,” he continued, citing the recently upgraded metro backbone data capacity.
